Yesterday marked the end of the first round of treatment. The round was pretty uneventful which is good. Now I have a week off of most of the meds and we start again next Tuesday for Round 2. Apparently we don’t get a decision on who won the fight until at least three rounds. I am pretty certain I am ahead in the score card. Outside of the cheap shot of taking out my back before I knew we were in a fight the Cancer hasn’t scored any new hits. While I have been swing away with meds that make babies have six heads.

My back has taken a bit of a step back last couple days. Talking to the doctors last week’s treadmill was likely made possible by the absurd amount of steroids I have been on. Since they rolled back the steroids my back has been talking to me. It doesn’t have kinds words to say. All in all it’s better then it was a couple weeks ago, just need to wait longer for it to heal up. Next week I get another infusion for my bones which should supercharge the healing. In the meantime probably going to lay off the treadmill and back-flips for a bit . Speaking of the back this is the brace I am stuck until we get the new scans.

So round one is over. My blood work came back good through the treatment. All signs point to this being something I can get treated and work/live normally once I get my back patched up. Next update on the state of the of the back is May 3rd.
